Shane Mullins joined the IT Security Office November, 2016. Prior to joining the IT Security Office, Shane served as the Information Security Officer at Mountain Empire Community College. Shane has experience in network monitoring, network administration and systems administration. Shane holds the following certifications: CISSP, SANS Continuous Monitoring and Security Operations, SANS Network Penetration Testing and Ethical Hacking, SANS Reverse Engineering Malware, SANS Python Coder and SANS Certified Enterprise Defender. In his spare time, Shane enjoys beekeeping and spending time with family.
