Senior IT Compliance Manager

Ryan has worked at Virginia Tech since 2015 and joined the IT Security Office in October, 2021. Before his current role in the Security Office, Ryan served as the Asst. Director for IT Infrastructure & Security with Finance Information Technology where he was responsible for managing the security posture of systems and services throughout the VP for Finance senior management area. Prior to that, he worked as a Staff IT Auditor in Internal Audit. Ryan holds the Master of Information Technology degree from Virginia Tech, a B.S. in Information Technology from Colorado State University, and he holds the CISSP, CCSP, CCSKv4, and Security+ certifications.
